~ Edwards & Co and GVA Grimley let No1 Henry Square at Ashton under Lyne new business quarter ~
Edwards & Co and GVA Grimley have secured two lettings in one month at No.1 Henry’s Square, St.Petersfield, the new urban business quarter in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
Acting on behalf of landlord, Prestigic Holdings Limited, the agents have let 4,700 sq ft on the part second floor to Carillion Construction Limited on a ten-year lease at a rent of £12.75 a sq ft. The construction company’s requirement came following the successful bid to secure the £300million Tameside Building Schools for the Future contract.
In addition, existing tenant, Pennine Care National Health Services Trust, has increased its accommodation at No.1 Henry Square, letting a further 3,765 sq ft.
David Laws of joint letting agents, Edwards & Co comments “These are excellent deals for Henry Square, further endorsing the regeneration that has taken place at St Petersfield. Henry Square was the ideal choice for Carillion to carry out their extensive contract within Tameside due to its quality of accommodation and highly accessible location”.
Now only 3,200 sq ft remains available in suites from 1,000 sq ft through joint agents Edwards & Co and GVA Grimley.
